Microsoft has finally revealed the details of the highly anticipated Xbox Project Scorpio. The tech giant also reveals the gaming system's ability to handle 4K games, and claimed that the Xbox Project Scorpio is much more than just raw power.

The Redmond, Washington based tech titan has stayed true to its performance targets outlined at E3 2016 by introducing a custom-designed graphics processing unit (GPU). The Xbox Project Scorpio console comes along with a 12GB of fast GDDR5 memory, as well as an entirely custom eight-core central processing unit (CPU).

The Xbox Project Scorpio is technically an upgrade to Microsoft's own Xbox One S, as well as to PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 4 Slim. Nonetheless, it has been said that none of the Xbox Project Scorpio upgrades really offered anything revolutionary, which seems to be what the tech company is aiming for with its upcoming gaming console. In spite of that, the Xbox Project Scorpio will have a Memory Bandwidth of 326 GB/s, a 1TB 2.5-inch Internal Hard Drive and a 4K UHD Blu-ray Optical Drive Experience, US Gamer reported.

The price of Microsoft's Xbox Project Scorpio has been spotted online with a price tag of 399.99 Euros or around $436. Although the list was removed, several tech fans managed to take a screenshot of the list before it disappeared. Microsoft is expected to reveal the price point of Xbox Project Scorpio at the E3 2017 gaming expo, ONMSFT reported.

On the other hand, the Xbox Project Scorpio could have a huge problem when it rolls out around the holiday 2017. The games list of the upcoming gaming console appears to be short of a blockbuster. The Xbox Project Scorpio game issue came up when Halo franchise director Frank O'Connor stated that the video game company will not be releasing anything this holiday season, Express reported.
