The official price, release date details of the Xbox Project Scorpio are set to be unveiled by Microsoft this summer. Nonetheless, one retailer may have pitched in the price of the Xbox Project Scorpio ahead of its 2017 launch.

Spanish retailer Xtralife has listed the upcoming Xbox Project Scorpio gaming system with a €399 price tag. The Xbox Project Scorpio price is roughly £335 in the U.K. Nevertheless, the price of Microsoft's upcoming console is seen as a major potential stumbling block for the new gaming system, Express reported.

It has been noted that Xbox Project Scorpio is more than an updated version of its predecessor, the Xbox One. The upcoming Xbox Project Scorpio gaming console is said to have six teraflops of GPU, 125 GB GDDR5 of RAM and eight custom CPU x86 core. Microsoft's latest gaming system also has a vapor-chamber cooling, a whopping 1TB Hard Drive and a memory bandwidth of 326GB per second.

The CPU of the Xbox Project Scorpio runs 30 percent faster compared to the original Xbox One. Compared to its predecessor, the RAM and hard drive of the Xbox Project Scorpio are now more improved. Also, playing in 4K resolutions in the Xbox Project Scorpio would be more maintained and achieved.

Meanwhile, Xbox enthusiasts already know that the Xbox Project Scorpio is a development codename. Nonetheless, recently surfaced reports suggested the possible names for Microsoft's Xbox Project Scorpio. The possible names for the highly anticipated Xbox Project Scorpio include Xbox Two, Xbox 4K, Xbox One +, Xbox 720, Xbox One Pro, Xbox One.5, Xbox Zero, Xbox One Ultra, Xbox One Prime and Xbox Scorpio, Grown Gaming reported.

Although nothing is official yet on the Xbox Project Scorpio release date, it has been said that Microsoft's upcoming console is going to be revealed at the E3 2017 event. Game enthusiasts still have to wait patiently until June to witness what this new-gen game console entails.
