Consumers can expect to see the new Samsung Galaxy S5 on Feb. 24, but a new report claims to have already have the full list of specs of its biggest competitor, the iPhone 6.

According to MacRumors.com, analysts at KDB Daewoo Securities Research released a new report with OLED-Display.net listing the specifications for the iPhone 6. Apple's next iPhone does not even have a hint for when it will be unveiled and the report's validity was immediately questioned as well.

The report says the iPhone 6 will come in two sizes: 4.7 inches (1920x1080 display) and 5.5 inches (2272x1280 display). The report also claims the new iPhone will feature an A8 chip, have 2 GB of RAM, an option for 128 GB of storage and an improved 3.2 megapixel front camera.

MacRumors pointed out that the size of the display is on par with current rumors suggesting Apple is ready to bump up its iPhone's screen sizes. It would also follow the model set by the iPhone 5S/5C by releasing a high-end smartphone alongside a cheaper option.

However, it is unlikely Apple will go with an IGZO display over an LTPS, since the latter has better electron mobility and better efficiency. The report also did not list iOS 8 as the new iPhone's operating system. That would be an usual and unlikely break of tradition for Apple, which has released a new mobile operating system alongside new devices for years.

In past years, Apple has traditionally released its new iPhone late in the third quarter or in the fourth. The report suggests the release would be somewhere in the second or third.

Despite what the report says about the camera, AppleInsider reported the U.S. Patent Office granted to patents to Apple for removable devices for the iPhone's camera. The patents are for add-ons that may improve the iPhone's shutter capabilities, image stabilization and zoom feature.

Both Apple and Samsung are expected to release new top-line smartphones in 2014 and the latter has been known to unveils theirs ahead of the former. Expect the rumor mill to intensify from here on out.
