Samsung boasts that its Galaxy S8 Android smartphone will have a Virtual Assistant out of the box. Nonetheless, it appears that Samsung's flagship device will not have Bixby personal assistant upon release.

On the launching event of the latest Samsung duo, the South Korean tech titan proudly displayed its new virtual assistant. If Microsoft has Cortana, Apple has Siri, Google has Google Assistant and Amazon has Alexa, Samsung will have its own Bixby virtual assistant. The Bixby personal assistant is anticipated to be one of the most exciting features of the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Samsung enthusiasts are about to get hyped up on the Galaxy S8 Bixby Assistant news, unfortunately, the tech giant announced that the personal assistant is still a work in progress. The feature will not be shipped together with the Samsung Galaxy S8, which is slated to roll out on April 21 in the U.S. This will be a disappointment for tech fans who are waiting to try Samsung Galaxy S8's Bixby Assistant, Wccf Tech reported.

Samsung said in a statement that the key features on its Galaxy S8, such as Reminder, Home and Vision can already be accessed by tech fans together with the improved reality on the handset's camera app. Nevertheless, the tech company is assuring that the Bixby personal assistant will come in the U.S. later this year.

Meanwhile, Samsung made it known that the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus Android smartphones will come along with an iris scanner technology. It was surprising that the iris scanner of the Samsung Galaxy S8 might actually be better compared to FBI's fingerprinting technology, Business Insider reported.

Samsung CEO of the Galaxy S8's iris recognition Mark Clifton, stated that FBI utilizes 13 points of identification per fingerprint, which 10 fingers might have 130 unique identifiers. While the iris scanner of the Samsung Galaxy S8 can register up to 200 identifying features.
