The detail of iPad Pro Mini is scarce but gathering all of the reports and leaks, one can assume that an update is coming soon. According to a few reputable sources, Apple's smallest tablet, iPad Mini, could be getting a refresh and reportedly a new name.

The iPad Pro Mini is said to contain the A10x chip just like its bigger siblings. A True Tone Retina display will be featured in the tablet whereas quad microphones ensure an excellent audio experience. Experts like Rhoda Alexander and Ming Chi Kuo did not mention any iPad Pro Mini in their verdicts but it has been rumored that there were four iPad models being tested with sequential naming, Tech Crunch reported.

The new iPad 2017 already debuts and that leaves three more models to be revealed by the Cupertino giant. A 10.5-inch device is highly likely to make an appearance along with the largest unit, a 12.9-inch tablet. The last model could be the iPad Pro Mini that everyone is debating about.

Furthering the detail, Apple might make a few refreshes this year. The Mac Pro has not been updated for years whilst the MacBook Pro is looking rather boring with the similar design and insignificant revolutionary changes.

2017 could see the biggest overhauls in the lineups as it has been said before, that the iPad refreshes will include a more advanced Apple Pencil. It is safe to assume that the iPad Pro Mini will be getting itself a stylus. To put things into perspective, the Pro models are all stylus-compatible and if the Mini tablet comes with Pro features, fans might be able to write with the Pencil on its tiny display, New Atlas reported.

The iPad Pro Mini is expected to debut alongside the other iPad Pro 2 tablets sometime in May or June 2017.
