Remember Xiaomi Redmi Note 4? The Chinese-made smartphone that made a big news recently. That phone has been considered as one of the best-selling smartphones for Xiaomi in India, claiming over one million units sold out in just 45 days of its launch. Well, this week, the smartphone has been spotted, but this time on Flipkart.com and Mi.con sites. The Chinese smartphone is available on sale and in three color options, in black, gold and dark gray option.

Developed by the Beijing-based hardware giant Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 4 features s a 5.5-inch Full HD display along with a 2.5D arc glass design on top. It also features a metal unibody design with a curved back. The phone runs on MIUI 8 beta based on Google's Android Marshmallow mobile operating system, the Indian Express reported.

Available on Flipkart, a Bangalore-based electronic commerce company, and Chinese e-commerce site Mi.con, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is currently available in three storage variants, the smartphone's based model with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage options, the 3GB 3GB RAM+32GB ROM variant, and last, the 4GB RAM+64GB storage option.

Powering the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 mobile processor. Other highlights include a 13-megapixel camera on the back of the phone and a 5-megapixel front shooting camera. Additionally, there's also a fingerprint scanner, which located at the back of the device, and a dedicated speaker, located at the bottom of the smartphone. The phone has a 4100mAh, which stand as the USP of the mobile device.

Meanwhile, a fast-growing company called Micromax is making a big name in the mobile industry. The company has ventured into the online domain by introducing two new smartphones Evok Note and Evok Power in India. But there's some intriguing story here, both smartphones have been available exclusively on Flipkart.com, starting April 12.

This sounds some kind of threat for the Chinese company Xiaomi. The company's Redmi Note 4 has a new competitor and it's the Micromax's Evok series. The two smartphones are well-matched in terms of specs and features. Both phones are powered by Google's Android Marshmallow OS, The Mobile Indian reported.

However there's one slight difference between the two, it's the microprocessor, the heart, and brain of the mobile device. The challenger, Micromax Evok Note is powered by a MediaTek MT6753 processor, while the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor.

Based in Beijing, China, Xiaomi was the third largest smartphone maker in the world, following the Korean tech giant Samsung and the Cupertino-based Apple. It currently designs, develops, and markets mobile devices and related consumer electronics.
