The top five teams in the 14th week of the Associated Press' men's college basketball rankings went mostly unchanged, except for the team sitting atop the list.

Syracuse (1) hung on the beat Duke (11) in an overtime thriller and Arizona (2) saw its rankings reign end on a last-second jumper from Cal's Justin Cobbs. Florida (3), Wichita State (4) and San Diego State (5) all hung on to their spots from week 13.

Texas (15) ended Kansas' (8) seven-game winning streak and had the largest rankings jump of the week. They beat the red-hot Jayhawks 81-69 and held freshmen sensations Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid to 15 total points.

Oklahoma State (19) suffered the largest fall dropping 11 places after losses to Oklahoma (21) and Baylor.

Rejoining the rankings is Virginia (20), Connecticut (22) and Gonzaga (23). UConn will be tested immediately to see if they can stay in the top-25, as they visit Cincinnati (7) on Thursday.

Two teams that each reached as high as third overall fell out of the top-25. Ohio State has lost five of its last seven and Wisconsin has lost five of its last six. The sudden and harsh plummet is especially perplexing since the Buckeyes started off with 15 wins in a row and Wisconsin with 16. Along with Massachusetts, they found themselves replaced in the national rankings this week.

Duke (11) was one of two teams to climb the rankings despite suffering a loss last week. Their thrilling 91-89 overtime loss to Syracuse was apparently enough to sway voters into moving the Blue Devils up six spots.

The Orange defense held Jabari Parker to 15 points on six of 16 shooting from the field, but Duke got double digit point totals from four other players, two of which from the bench. With games against Wake Forrest and Boston College, Duke seems primed to reenter the top ten.
