Microsoft will release Windows 10 Creators Update two days from now and Microsoft's voice assistant Cortana is lending a hand to users for the installation of the new update. The new update is expected to bring upgrades to classic apps, bug fixes and patch holes from possible hacking.

Microsoft will bring Windows 10 Creators Update to every user on April 11 for free. Since this is a big annual update for the new operating system, the update is expected to bring exciting features most especially to security.

In relation to that, Windows 10 Creators Update aims to keep every computer in good health condition, high performance and safety from hacking and viruses. For older versions of Windows, Microsoft will keep giving security patches for them but keeping up-to-date is highly recommended, BGR reported.

Aside from the security features, Windows 10 Creators Update is also said to upgrade to the creatively-friendly apps that were about to become obsolete. For example, Paint will have its new 3D mode which allows the user to draw 2D objects and quickly convert them into 3D model but requires AR/VR headset.

Microsoft Edge is another app that's getting a major upgrade in Windows 10 Creators Update. As the proprietary Microsoft browser, Edge uses less battery than Google Chrome. A new feature like an organized group tabs is coming to the app.

There are two ways to download the Windows 10 Creators Update. First, to wait for Windows prompt on update installation on April 11 and second, downloading the update manually through Windows Update Assistant. It should be noted that both installations are free.

On a lighter note, Microsoft's voice assistant Cortana can help the consumer in doing the frustrating process of the update. Through voice recognition, consumers may be able to command the assistant to enable Wi-Fi connections and sign in to Microsoft account, Fortune reported.

Through this manner, consumers will not need the aide of keyboard and mouse in doing Windows 10 Creators Update installation. To make Windows machines easier is one of Microsoft's goals where Cortana has become a great contributor in the goal's accomplishment.
