Android Nougat Samsung Devices: Android 7.0 Nougat Launches To Samsung's Galaxy Tab S2 8.0, Tab S2 9.7, Galaxy S6 Edge+ [VIDEO]
BySamsung recently rolled out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to Galaxy S7, S7 edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy Note 5. Now, the tech titan is bringing the Android 7.0 Nougat update to some of its tablets, the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch variants.
The South Korean tech giant has now started to make the Android 7.0 Nougat available for the Galaxy Tab S2 in Europe, kicks off with the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0-inch model in Italy, and the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7-inch model in Germany. The start of the Android 7.0 Nougat rollout has come much sooner than expected, Sam Mobile reported.
With Android 7.0 Nougat update now available to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 in some markets, the update should continue to make its way to more countries across Europe. Nonetheless, while the Galaxy Tab S2 is getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update, the Android operating system will come along with new features like improved performance, newer user interface, Game Launcher, improvements to notifications and quick setting buttons, Gizbot reported.
With the Android 7.0 Nougat update which already comes with tons of enhancements over the old operating system, the latest update provides an efficient space for the installation of downloaded apps and improves the multi-window feature. The Android 7.0 Nougat update also allows faster installation of apps and software updates.
The Android 7.0 Nougat weighs 1GB in size, and it is also packed with an April Security patch. Users can also acquire the new Samsung Game Launcher with the Android 7.0 Nougat update. As the Update is large in size, users are recommended to download the update file on a WiFi network and at least have 50 percent battery life while updating.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ also gets the Android 7.0 Nougat update on the Sprint network. Nonetheless, there is a leak shows that the tech giant starts developing firmware for its highly anticipated Galaxy Note 8, Go Android reported.
