After months of unleashing the beta version of the Android 7.1.2 Nougat, Google has finally started launching the final built of the latest Android operating system to the Pixel C Android tablet. Tech fans can acquire the Android 7.1.2 Nougat via Over-The-Air (OTA) along with the latest April Android Security patch. The update is also available for the Nexus devices.

The latest Android 7.1.2 Nougat update adds the Pixel Launcher and filled-in Pixel-style navigation buttons to Google's Pixel C Android tablet. The update is reportedly rolling out globally and the software is just over 340MB in size, Android Headlines reported.

Tech fans who are impatient will have the option of manually searching for the latest Android 7.1.2 Nougat update by going to the Pixel C's Settings app, Status section, and then the System updates option. Pixel C owners should make sure that their device has enough free storage space and has at least 50 percent of battery life before downloading and installing the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update. Nonetheless, the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update is said to come along with VoLTE support as well as the TWRP support.

Also, the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update with April patch is widely expected to be available to the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Pixel and Pixel XL on April 3. Reports are mounting up on the internet that the latest Android operating system update brings the devices up to speed, Android Central reported.

The Android 7.1.2 Nougat update will implement several bug fixes and general improvements. Tech fans should expect some of the minor issues that they might have encountered. Unfortunately, Google made it known that the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 will not be receiving the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update. In spite of that, the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 will continue to get the security updates.
