Minecraft PE (Pocket Edition) and Windows 10 are about to get some big update this year. Swedish game developer Mojang and software giant Microsoft have just revealed to the world the latest Minecraft Update 1.1, also known as the Discovery Update. The two companies made the huge announcement this week.

According to The Express, the latest Minecraft Update 1.1 is the next to be launched for the popular brick-building title that was originally created and designed by the Swedish game designer Markus Persson. Latest Minecraft update is said to focus more around uncovering new secrets.

Additionally, the two have also announced plans for the Discovery Update Android Beta. However, it still unclear when the Discovery Update will arrive in Android users, but it will make available to Android users in the near future. As with the Discovery Update, Mojang will be bringing exciting news on board. In a recent Mojang developer blog, Mojang said that Minecraft players will need to find the forest mansion, and defeat the villagers within to be able to steal the Totem of Undying. Other big additions are the ability to dye beds, smelt ingots, and newly added blocks such as glazed terracotta and concrete bricks.

Despite revealing to the world the upcoming Minecraft update, Mojang still won't make any further statement or comment about the Minecraft Discovery Update release date. But it will be released on Android, iOS and Windows 10 in the near future. As with the pricing and availability, the upcoming Minecraft Discovery Update will be completely free. It will be made available for download from the iTunes App Store, Google Play Store, and Windows Store.

Developed by the Swedish game studio Mojang, is a three-dimensional sandbox video game that enables players to build constructions out of textured cubes. There is no specific tasks or goals to accomplish here.
