Over their final 11 games, the Pittsburgh Panthers (18) have two games against currently ranked teams and the first is Monday night against ACC rival Duke Blue Devils (17).

The matchup is the first and only regular season meeting between the two teams and a win would help either climb the rankings. Like Duke, Pitt is 12-0 at home, but playing on the Panthers' court may difficult for the Blue Devils, who are 1-2 on the road. Both losses are Duke's only ACC losses, but were also away games.

Pitt, on the other hand, has lost only once in ACC play: a road game 59-54 loss against second-ranked Syracuse.

Duke has recovered from losses to Clemson and Notre Dame in a three-game span and a mini-slump from star freshman Jabari Parker to now be on a four-game winning streak. Parker's game plan has switched back to aggressively attacking the basket instead of settling for jumpers and three pointers, at the urging of Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski.

Coach K, the all-time leader in Division I basketball coaching wins, is coming off winning his 900th game in 34 seasons at Duke, giving him 973 in his career.

Marshall Plumlee, Duke's sophomore center, said rebounding has been a key to the team's recent success.

"Rebounding is something we've really tried to make a focal point these last few weeks," Plumlee told reporters, according to the Associated Press. "Alongside our defense, I feel like it's something that's starting to show in recent games so no matter who we play we're hoping to come up with the W on the boards and defensive stops."

Parker represents a matchup problem for Pitt, as he does almost every team. The six-foot-seven forward is strong and athletic and score from the perimeter at times. He is also coming off his second-straight double-double, registering 14 points and 14 rebounds Saturday against Florida State.
