Apple Inc. recently rolled out a new tablet, which is simply dubbed as the iPad. Although the new device looks quite similar to the old 9.7-inch iPad Pro, but Apple's new 9.7-inch iPad is a budget friendly device, which has a price tag of $329.

While the new iPad looks quite similar to the old 9.7-inch iPad Pro, the new iPad has a tantalizingly low price tag, while the 9.7-inch iPad Pro is a high-end device that is up for grabs for $599 for the 32GB version. Nonetheless, both gadgets are slick and powerful. In spite of that, the new iPad is arguably facing more competition from the tech giant's existing 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

Even though the new iPad and the existing 9.7-inch iPad Pro come with 9.7-inch displays, there are still succinct differences between the devices. While both tablets are available with LED-backlit displays, fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating and multi-touch support, the existing iPad Pro comes along with a more vibrant P3 wide color True Tone display. Also, The new iPad only comes only with an 8MP f/2.2 shooter, while the 9.7-inch iPad Pro is available with a 12MP f/2.2 rear snapper, Value Walk reported.

That being the case, the new iPad 2017 is still the newest addition to Apple's iPad lineup. The new iPad 2017 is officially known as the 5th-generation iPad. Apple's latest tablet is designed to replace the iPad Air, according to Mac Rumors. Furthermore, the features of the new iPad could definitely compete with lower-priced Android devices.

In terms of the new iPad vs iPad Air 2, in spite of the fact that the new device is the tech giant's most affordable tablet to date, it also has a brighter display and a faster A9 processor than iPad Air 2. Other internal hardware of the new iPad seems to be very similar with iPad Air 2. Wherein, the Wi-Fi, LTE, battery life and other sensors appear to be the same.
