"Civilization VI" will get two new civilizations, and a new scenario pack. Firaxis also launched a PC demo for Steam recently.
Persia led by Cyrus
According to the official website of the video game, Firaxis will be introducing two new civilizations for players to try out and one of them has been revealed. The first civilization that will be added next is Persia, which will be led by Cyrus. This civilization will be perfect for players who want to build a rich empire, but who will not be afraid to launch a surprise attack at their neighboring countries.
Persia's special unit
Persia will have its own unique unit, which is rather popular with this civilization. The Immortal is its elite heavy foot soldier, which has served both guard of the sovereign and the state. It is said that this civilization's army had 10,000 Immortals, and each had both long-range and short-range weapons.
Persia's special improvement
Persia in "Civilization VI" will also have a unique improvement for players to take advantage of, which is the Pairidaeza. It is also called the Persian Gardens, and these are closed collections of exquisite foliage meant to convey the feeling of paradise on Earth. This is rather common in those times and in Persian literature.
Release date
The two new civilizations for the video game will launch together with the Spring 2017 update. It will come with tons of balance changes, multiplayer changes, and fixes for several bugs. Firaxis promised that they will have more details on the update and the second civilization on a later date and the DLC pack will be unlocked automatically for the Digital Deluxe Edition owners.
PC Demo
In another post on the official website of "Civilization VI," Firaxis recently released a free PC demo for the video game for all PC Steam users. It allowed them to try out Qin Shi Huang on a fixed map with America, Egypt, and Sumeria for a limited amount of turns only. There was no limit to how many times they could play the demo.
