Sony and Microsoft prepare a console battle at E3 this June with the PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio both being showcased as their flagship consoles. How do they compare; who will likely steal more attention and why?

4K Gaming Capability: More than just a preference?

When comparing PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio, it comes down to the 4K gaming capability. PS4 Pro isn't exactly delivering the native 4K game or high-definition VR like Xbox Scorpio has promised.

As far as the specs are concerned, the leaks suggest Xbox Scorpio will have a new design and build unlike the Xbox One. It will have its power supply system put inside the chassis for the cooling purpose. The true 4K gaming will be able to capture 4K video at 60 frames per sec.

However, let's not forget that the PS4 Pro and PlayStation VR have crafted successful path so far, compared to Microsoft's consoles. Users in KitGuru forum learned that Sony PlayStation could look more enticing than the Xbox Scorpio given that the latter is powerful but the 4GB upgrade is disappointing to them.

Moreover, judging from the contents, PlayStation has a lot more first party exclusives compared to Xbox. Chances are, both beastly consoles will follow the same pattern. Regardless of what Xbox Scorpio will look like, it supposedly depends on personal preference and the games you play.

PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio: The console battle at E3

E3 2017 will be held in June and this means a console war between PlayStation and Xbox. Apparently, Microsoft reserves a much smaller booth space compared to its contender like Nintendo.

It makes the fans question whether Xbox Scorpio will be worth the attention given that Sony has a bigger space to promote big titles, PS4 Pro and VR experience, according to NintendoLife. Until Microsoft announces Xbox Scorpio CPU and official benchmark, all possibilities remain to be seen.
