Foldable Galaxy X phone is Samsung's ambitious plan that's set to be revealed soon. Details here!

Samsung's dreamy phone will finally come to live this year. The foldable Galaxy X has been widely talked and leaked but it is the latest detail that seems to shed some light to its existence.

It's reported that the prototype model will be ready in September and Samsung could prepare the global launch sometime in 2018. Daily Mail learned that Galaxy X, codenamed Foldable Valley, is a notebook-like device with a flexible 7-inch screen.

This will be the world's first folding phone that won't only be a concept design but an actual product. Previously, Samsung held a 'secretive' press event at MWC 2017 and only those who were invited, were allowed to witness the prototype, Tech Radar wrote.

If rumor on the foldable Galaxy X release date is true, Apple will face a huge challenge as the revolutionary phone arrives just in time with iPhone 8 unveiling.

The flexible phone is highly anticipated by tech geeks but there's been doubts whether Galaxy X could surpass the fame of the upcoming Galaxy S8. As a reminder, LG G5 was initially thought to be a breakthrough with the modular concept. However, turned out the company was wrong. It didn't steal too much attention and LG has to give into fans demands, by launching a conventional successor, LG G6.

A flexible phone seems to be pretty interesting but people are concerned about the pricing. The premium Galaxy Note and S series are high-end flagships that don't cost cheap. Phone Arena described the foldable Galaxy X as 'luxurious phone' and 'ultra premium'. As far as the design is concerned, it will have an elegant built with water-resistant chassis.

Do you think the foldable Galaxy X will challenge iPhone 8 OLED display this year?
