At the end of Q1 of 2017, Tom Clancy's "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" is probably the fastest selling game of the year. This is after the game ran second place after "The Division" also a Tom Clancy title, despite a lot of mixed reviews about the game.

"Ghost Recon: Wildlands" has been released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox one, which may contribute to it being arguably the fasters selling game title this year. The Metro reported that unlike other triple A titles, which are console exclusives, this new Tom Clancy title focuses more on being available for everybody.

According to Kotaku, "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" is at first a unremarkable title, but once a player access its core, then the fun truly begins. However, the story mode of this game quickly wanes away, after the immediately gratification coming from its bombast flares, a lot of shooting, explosions and destruction.

Despite the somewhat repetitive nature of its story mode, "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" truly shines brightly when multiplayer is put into account. With the company of competitive friends does this truly become a whole new game of its own. Though unlike "The Division" where a mixture of RPG elements is included, this game is just a shooting fest, that is best for multiplayer games.

Though Kotaku, place this game not at the same pedestal as with Rainbox Six or The Division, it is a reality that this game is gaining the attention of people. It has become the fastest selling game of 2017, though it dropped at bit in the rankings upon the release of newer games.

The Tom Clancy franchise produced the most iconic titles in gaming history and people will surely look forward to other titles that will shape the evolution of first person shooters. "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" is one of those peculiar gems that only real FPS fans can appreciate.
