Fans of Skyrim will be waiting for quite a long time before the "Elder Scrolls VI" is released, but at the moment, "Elder Scrolls Legends" has finally come to PC. After more than a year of wait, Legends has finally been released for the PC.
According to Endgadget, Bethesda said that the PC launch came after a lot of improvements, additions and optimizations. "Elder Scrolls Legends" is a card game spin-off Skyrim. It was widely played on consoles, and now that it is formally launched for PC, it's popularity is expected to rise. Alongside the launch is the release of the Fall of the Dark Brotherhood content update. This will explore the Dark Brotherhood storyline as the player is placed in the role of an infiltrator aimed to destroy the Brotherhood from within.
The expansion includes a deck of 40 additional cards, which can be availed through in-game gold or by paying $20. Those who will purchase the expansion will receive a Doom wolf mount as prize, which can be used during MMO.
Gamespot interviewed Bethesda's Peter Hines, that they are going to make changes and reevaluations to make the game more balanced and unpredictable. They also plan on rebalancing the cards whenever there is an anomaly detected.
Aside from this, some critics speculated that Bethesda is attempting to win over Hearthstone players. Bethesda stated that they will try to win people over, and give them a good time by giving in-depth story and not only a simple card game. Bethesda also stated that the future of "Elder Scrolls" will be massive, hinting of integration with spectator mode, Twitch integration and tournaments. Fans of the series will have a lot of things to do while they wait for the highly-awaited addition to this legendary franchise.
