Back in August 2016 Logitech introduced the G Pro Gaming Mouse. It took a while but now, Logitech released the perfect keyboard to match. It is a tenkeyless Logitech G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.
For haters of the numeric keypad or simply want a shorter form factor, this keyboard is for you. The G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard maintains a sleek design but lesser by a third of a full keyboard's length at only 14.2-inches.
The G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard does not have a number pad on the right side of the design. The space difference gives players more desk real estate for mouse movement. Logitech also gave it a detachable micro-USB cable; unfortunately, it does not ship with its own travel bag.
According to Slash Gear, the G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is manufactured with Logitech's own Romer-G switches, which it says are 25 percent faster than other mechanical switches. Additionally, the keys are quoted to last for 70 million cycles.
The G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard also ships with RGB capabilities, 16.8 million colors can be had as long as Logitech's pack-in software is used in conjunction. However, for tournaments that do not allow software, lighting cues can be stored in the keyboard itself.
Logitech's G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is now available from the company's online store for $130 with free shipping. It is a decent enough bargain considering RGB keyboards are fast becoming expensive.
Paired with Logitech G Pro Gaming Mouse at $70, you are looking at a solid pair of gaming accessories for $200. PC World reported the G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard has full RGB lighting, steel back plate and Logitech software integration.
Additionally, the G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard has added functionality such as macro customization for its function keys, game control profiles and on-board memory to store macro and lighting profiles.
