Triple A games have been released and many have either sowed the praises of their hard work and creativity or reaped the results of their bad and lazy development strategy. 1. Legends of Zelda: breath of the wild
The flagship of the Nintendo switch at the moment, Legends of Zelda captured the admiration of a lot of people in the gaming world mainly for its story and gameplay. This new installment in this franchise, players are now given the chance to really explore the Zelda universe in immersive detail while being submerged in an amazing story. IGN gave this a masterpiece ratings of 10, Metacritic gave a 99%, Gamespot gave a 10/10 ratings and Polygon also gave it a 10/10. Truly this is the best game of 2017 so far.
2. Nier Automata
Almost tied in the second place is Nier Automata. The so called it a successor to the Drakengard series, this Square-Enix masterpiece have dominated not only the Asian gaming market but also the gaming community in the United States. An action RPG, this game is set in a dystopia, where the player is dropped into a war against the machines. IGN gave is an 8.9 rating, Metacritic gave an 89%, Gamespot a 9/10 and Polygon gave it an 8/10.
3. Resident Evil VII: Biohazard
Tied with Nier in the list, the Resident evil came out with a bang this 2017. Though its movie adaptations were less to be desired, the video game franchise that sparked it all didn't fade. Resident Evil VII: Biohazard again pull gamers into the frantic, zombie infested world caused by Umbrella's medical experiments. The main difference of this game is that it focuses more on the horror of exploration rather than action. IGN gave it a 7.7, Metacritic gave an 86%, Gamespot an 8/10 and Polygon gave a 9/10.
