Nvidia promises a whole lot of perks to arrive at Nvidia Shield and the company once again proved it with the "Tomb Raider" launch.

Square Enix and Nvidia have partnered up to reboot the game and make it work on the Android TV. "Tomb Raider" was initially released in 2013 for Xbox 360 and PS3. Now that Lara Croft is coming to Android device, the game is enhanced to deliver incredible gaming experience for players.

For Nvidia Shield owners, the game will cost $15, according to 9to5 Google. The company takes the advantage of Play Store to bring Android games to its device. The feature includes offline mode so players don't have to stream the game.

"Tomb Raider" offers intense story of Lara Croft who explores an island alone and dealing with enemies. 8 million of units were sold, scoring high on Metacritic and in term of profits. With the title coming to Tegra X1-powered device, that brings higher frame rate to ensure excellent quality.

There's still room for improvements for Nvidia Shield but the current version is already a game changer especially those who are fond of 4K streaming, Tech Radar reported.

The download requires 5.5 GB space and it includes "Tomb of The Lost Adventurer DLC" that features spectacular scenery, new skills and outfits with a few upgraded weapons. The game also includes offline mode so players don't have to stream.

Square Enix's effort in making Lara look 'more human' has to be praised. The complex animation that requires her to squeeze herself in tight space or take a leap to another place while constantly fighting enemies - it does offer realistic experience to the players

One thing to note, the game is a single player mode. Thus, those who dream of playing with co-op may have to be disappointed.
