Niantic Inc. will reportedly launch a "Pokemon Go" Snorlax Event that kicks off on March 4 and runs through March 13. Apparently, the "Pokemon Go" developer has rolled out its Gen 2 update. Also, Niantic CEO John Hanke stated that they will release three more "Pokemon Go" updates within 2017 following the February patch.

When the official "Pokemon Go" Japan Twitter account posted a photo of Snorlax with the dates March 4 and March 13, "Pokemon Go" players got excited that this is going to be another event. Without an official word from the game developer, several fans concluded and assumed that Niantic will launch a "Pokemon Go" Snorlax Event. A number of "Pokemon Go" fans are expecting a massive Snorlax will come out during the event.

Meanwhile, the game developer has launched the "Pokemon Go" Gen 2 update. Rumor has it that the "Pokemon Go" Gen 2 update rolls out over the coming months. Nonetheless, the "Pokemon Go" Gen 2 update only brought Baby Pokemon, but reports are springing up one after another that the rest of the Gen 2 Pokemon creatures will be added in the coming months, according to Birmingham Mail.

Adding up to the "Pokemon Go" update, Niantic CEO Hanke recently mentioned that fans can expect three more "Pokemon Go" updates within 2017 following the February patch, which launched the Gen 2 Pokemon creatures. The CEO of Niantic said that the upcoming "Pokemon Go" update will come along with Gym system changes, PokemonGO Hub reported.

Furthermore, CEO Hanke claimed that "Pokemon Go" players will get more incentives and rewards to fire them up to use the Gym system. CEO Hanke also said that the software company is considering to introduce a Player vs Player (PVP) mode in the next update. Also, the software company is considering an option for players to trade Pokemon creatures. Nevertheless, Niantic senior product manager Tatsuo Nomura made it known that the swapping will happen face-to-face and not online.
