Just when everybody thought the Samurai faction was leading, the Vikings grabbed the title of "For Honor" First Faction War Winner in a major upset. The players in the winning faction will distribute war assets like conquerors of territorial maps. They will also claim enemy lands and earn a massive supply of loots.

Players expected the Samurai faction to win, but for the past few days there was a significant increase of numbers of Vikings in the field, Kotaku reported. Ubisoft is yet to release official numbers of the total amount of Vikings that conquered the game. The sudden upswing of Raiders, Warlords, and Berserkers is a clear indication that there is an unstoppable change in the meta of "For Honor."

Fans are now anticipating the next faction war, which will commence in the same territories. From katanas and broadswords, maps are now swarmed with axes. But will the Vikings continue to dominate the game in the next faction war?

On 28, February, Ubisoft released the 1.03 update of "For Honor," which will hopefully fix some of the issues that fans usually complain about, WWG reported. One of the major changes is the improvement of the Guardbreak mechanic in the game's combat system. Some of the character's features are also tweaked, like a buffer Valkyrie, longer attack range for the Peacekeeper, while the Conqueror and the Berserker will get minor debuffs.

Another notable change is the fix on the bug with Shugoki, which makes players lose the "Hard to Kill" Feat when they die. The Orochi and Berserker had their bugs fixed regarding their area of effect ground problem. Meanwhile, the Valkyrie Bloodlust Feat can now be triggered on all kinds of kills as initially intended.

The Rush Feat animation transition problem present in the Valkyrie, Warlord, and Berserker are now tweaked from idle to sprint. A lot of the bugs present in the fight system of the game were also improved.
