As expected, the highly anticipated Lenovo Tab 4 series debuted at the MWC 2017 with four variants.

Based on screen size, the company featured the Lenovo Tab 4 8 (8") and Tab 4 10 (10"). Meanwhile, the other two models are the Tab 4 8 Plus and the Tab 4 10 Plus. Lenovo assured that these devices would hit the global market starting May. Well, the prices are expected to vary per region.

Lenovo Tab 4: 8" & 10" full specs

Android Central reported that both the 8" and 10" variants offer a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with 2GB of RAM. Customers may get either a 16GB or a 32GB internal capacity, which is expandable through a microSD. The Lenovo Tab 4 displays a decent 1280 x 800 screen resolution.

In the imaging department, the Lenovo Tab 4 is neither good nor bad with a 5MP rear camera. Its fixed focus selfie shooter sits at 2MP only. Nonetheless, the latest tech toy runs Dolby Atmos for better sounds, may it be via headphones or speakers.

Per the same source, Lenovo Tab 4 is powered by a quite impressive Android 7.0 Nougat. It thrives with a 4850mAh battery (8") and 7000maH (10") that last for at least 12-hours on a single charge. Lenovo appears to be competing with Amazon's Fire HD Kids tablet as it launches optional Kids and Productivity packs.

Other specifications of the Lenovo Tab 4 include GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and LTE. The 8" model measures 211 x 124 x 8.2 millimeters (mm) and weighs 310 grams (g). On the other hand, the 10" tablet sits at 247 x 170 x 8.4mm and balances at 505g.

8" Plus & 10" Plus: Lenovo Tab 4 prices

Wccftech learned that the 8" Plus and 10" Plus variants of the Lenovo Tab 4 will retail for $199 and $249 respectively. They will come in either Slate Black or Polar White colors in May. Meanwhile, the non-Plus models may sell for $109 and $149 in Aurora Black or Sparkling White during the same month.

The separated camera and flash at the back differentiate the Plus from the regular variants of the Lenovo Tab 4. Consequently, the 8" Plus and 10" Plus run a more powerful Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. Both handsets showcase a 1920 x 1200 IPS display.

Meanwhile, better cameras are installed in the Plus versions with 8MP at the rear and 5MP in front. A larger 4GB of RAM and an additional 16 to 64 GB internal storage complete the package.
