Game enthusiasts are already widely speculating the "Grand Theft Auto 6," and these gamers are expecting a surprise from Rockstar Games regarding the upcoming video game. Nonetheless, as the video game company is currently focusing on the upcoming open world western action-adventure game, "Red Dead Redemption 2," reports are claiming that "GTA 6" has kicked off the pre-production stage.

As Rockstar Games is reportedly launching the "Red Dead Redemption 2" this coming Fall 2017, an imminent release of "GTA 6" is a significant way off, according to MobiPicker. Nonetheless, the upcoming action-adventure video game has already entered pre-production stage, and could arrive in 2020 or 2021.

Although the game developer has not even released the exact title for the next installment of "Grand Theft Auto," the release date of the upcoming video game was hinted on one of "Grand Theft Auto V's" doors. The "GTA 5" has two doors in the airport that has unusual numbers on them. One set of doors points out the date 2013, while the other indicates 2021. This led several video game analysts to believe that the second door hints the possible "GTA 6" release date, TNH reported.

Nonetheless, "Grand Theft Auto" gamers want a bigger map to explore in the upcoming GTA installment. As the GTA games have got bigger, its map hasn't. Nevertheless, rumor has it that the map of "GTA 6" will be the largest in the game series.

In spite of that, Rockstar Games probably won't unleash "GTA 6" until well after the upcoming open world western action-adventure game rolls out. This is for the reason that the development on "GTA 6" won't really ramp up until the "Red Dead Redemption 2" is finished, Tech Mic has learned. After all, the video game company was set to develop the "Red Dead Redemption 2" after three years of GTA Online.
