"Ruiner" will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in addition to being available on PC. This is the latest news about the top down action shooter game from Devolver Digital. Xbox One and PlayStation invite gamers in for a closer look of the gorgeous cyberpunk game.
A Closer Look at the Gorgeous Cypberpunk Game
The first time "Ruiner" was heard of was in April 2016, when the developers launched a demo at PAX East. Most players gave up too easily during the final boss round. But Kuba Stylinski, one of "Ruiner's" developers wrapped it up in a flash of 12 minutes. Since then, "Ruiner" was put in a limelight of an "unforgivably difficult isometric action game."
"Ruiner" was created with "Ghost in the Shell" and "Akira" in mind. The game takes place in futuristic Bangkok, in a city called Rengkok in the year 2091, Gematsu reported. The citizens in that era are wearing Oculus rift-like devices too advanced that it can make them feel VR emotions.
The VR helmet rig is controlled by a large corporation called Heaven. They create a black market for the rigs and sell it to wealthy men who have fetish for other people's sufferings. So Heaven results to attacking people at random to subject them to terror and horror and simulate the environments for clientele to watch and feel the peoples suffering.
Unfortunately for Heaven, one of the people they tortured is the brother of the protagonist. As the players seek to save the lost brother, they will explore the dark secrets of Heaven and learn about the fates of those who have been trafficked. But players must remember to move a lot, or they die in this cyberpunk game.

The release date has not been announce just yet, but it will definitely be in 2017, Windows Central reported. Players will gear up with a military-grade helmet, which can help conceal the player's abilities while in battle. The helmet can also help players aim at a target and can scan surroundings to spot cloaked people.
The entire game is bathing in bright red, grey, blue, and anything that's neon. It's visually stunning; the gameplay challenging. It's not for those who back down easily.
