Syracuse vs Virginia Tech LIVE Radio Broadcast: the Orange Look to Stay Undefeated Against the Unranked Hokies
ByThe Syracuse Orange (2) will try to stay undefeated as they face their ACC rival Virginia Tech Hokies on the road.
At 14-0, Syracuse is also one of six top-25 teams without a loss and will try to keep the pressure on the top-ranked Arizona. Syracuse played its first ACC game Saturday against Miami and won in less-than-convincing fashion, 49-44.

Tuesday night's matchup against Virginia Tech promises to be another challenge if Syracuse struggles again to put up points.
"When you get into league play, you're going to have games like this," Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim told reporters after the win, according to ESPN. "It's not easy. We're going to see this a lot."
Syracuse could start 15-0 for the third time in four years with a win, but will first have its perimeter defense tested by Virginia Tech. Miami made 5 of 11 three-point attempts in the first half of Saturday's game then held them to two of eight in the second half. Virginia Tech, however, has the country's sixth-best three-point shooting percentage at 42.5 percent.
"They're a good basketball team," Boeheim said. "We just need to have a couple good days of work and get ready."
The Orange may catch a break on both sides, as two Hokies shooters and a key rebounder could realistically miss the game.
The Hokies' defense has been hot lately, but has averaged 69.2 points allowed per game, about 10 points higher than the Orange's total. Offensively, the two have both posted an average of 74 points per game and each team's leading scorer has put up 17 per game.
C.J. Fair, the Orange's leading scorer, is a six-foot-eight forward that could create problems for Virginia Tech's defense. He is physical and gets most of his points from inside the arc.
On the other hand, Jarell Eddie, the Hokies' leading scorer, may have a similar build, but is a dangerous shooter from beyond the arc and he is currently averaging a .472 percentage.
