LG has completely give G6 not just an internal makeover but also to its physical appearance. This year's iteration of the premium handset is expected to sport a 5.7-inch screen display QHD+ panel or equivalent to 2880 x 1440 that has 18:9 ration, SlashGear reported.

This new kind of display technology featured in LG G6 is referred to as "FullVision". The handset has larger screen compared to its predecessor LG G5 with 5.3-inch screen size; LG G6 is also considered as almost bezel-less smartphone.

Samsung, Apple and Google are likely to get worried with LG G6's powerful hardware specs. In the heart of the handset lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and powered by a 3300 mAh battery which is non-removable.

The presence of USB Type C, Fingerprint scanner and Dual Rear Cameras are also spotted in the next-generation LG smartphone, Phandroid reported. It's important to note that these functionalities are also present in Galaxy S8, iPhone 8 and Pixel phones.

Unlike its predecessor, the upcoming LG G6 is expected to run Android 7.1 Nougat which makes it the first non-Pixel phone to run such version of Android beta. Along with the mobile software are applications such as LG Pay or MST Payments and the most anticipated Google Assistant.
