The Chinese telecom authority, TENAA, approved the LeEco LEX656 and LEX659 smartphones. Both handsets might debut in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017.
So far, it appears that the twin camera and a powerful battery make the LeEco LEX656 a worthy flagship gadget. It sports a full metal unibody design alongside the LEX659. To top it all, the LeEco brand also features superb security measures like a fingerprint scanner.
LeEco LEX656 highlights
According to Android Crunch, the LeEco LEX656 showcases a 5.5" IPS full HD display with dual curved edges. Notably, it offers an amazing 1920 x 1080p screen resolution. The smartphone is powered by a strong 2.3GHz deca-core processor.
Apparently, it is believed that a MediaTek Helio X20 or X25 chipset may boost the LeEco LEX656. For its memory capacity, the brand has 4GB of RAM with 32GB internal storage. It runs on the famous Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and will support dual-SIM.
Aside from the standard fingerprint scanner, other sensors include a Gravity instrument. Moreover, distance radar is placed inside the phone's sophisticated system. Another light sensor completes the sensual package of the LeEco LEX656.
Other features of LeEco LEX656
According to GSM Arena, the LeEco LEX656 model measures 152.4 x 75.1 x 7.5mm and weighs around 168g. The phone retails in five colors such as gold, red, silver, white, and gray. An outstanding 3,900mAH battery keeps the handset alive for a long period of time.
In the imaging department, the LeEco LEX656 boasts a 13MP+13MP rear camera with LED flash. These are complemented by an 8P selfie shooter at the front. Its connectivity, in the same manner, presents 4G VoLTE, 3G, Infrared, and Bluetooth. LeEcos next flagship is USB, GPS, and Wi-Fi ready as well.
On the other hand, the LEX659 variant basically features the same specifications as the LEX656. Surprisingly, the LEX656 could actually be the LeEco Le 2s. Last but definitely not the least, the LEX659 is the dual-SIM option of the Le 2s. Do note that the company has not confirmed these speculations as of the moment.
