Parents Of Three Year Old Who Can't Blink Seeking To Raise Money Online To Diagnose Disorder

The Durant family's "Go Fund Me" page is up to $13,913 of the $20,000 needed to support their three year old son's future medical bill. According to a Fox story published at 9:06 this morning, the total was "just over $10,000." Clearly, the added publicity is helping the family's plight. Consider this another one for the kid.
Raising the $20,000 (and posting an extra $9,000 or so in down payments) won't guarantee their son, Corban Durant's, survival, or even pay for his treatment. As of now, the family is just trying to understand why their son can't blink. They hope the world-renowned resources of the Mayo Clinic will give them that answer, Fox News reported.
Complicating Corban's situation are all the other medical conditions he's had to overcome in his three years. Eighty six doctor visits in his first ten months diagnosed a heart defect, liver-lung disorder and neuropathy in his legs - all issues he continues to face. Despite the neuropathy, which affects nerves systems outside the central nervous system, he can still walk, according to FOX. Based on his pictures, Corban looks to be a healthy and happy young kid.
A diagnosis and subsequent treatment is necessary as Corban's condition is believed to be progressing in the wrong direction.
In the twenty or so minutes it took me to write this article, $10 was added to the pot.
"I am Blown away at the support My Lil man is receiving," Corbin's mom wrote on the funding page. "We are truly grateful and will hold each and everyone of you dear to us for the rest of our lives. You all too kind. Thank you, and God bless."
