Singer Ke$ha is currently in rehab battling an eating disorder, TMZ reported.
Through an official statement to TMZ, the 26-year-old vegetarian said she was seeking 30-day treatment for her condition. The singer was admitted Friday morning.
"I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself but I've found that hard to practice," Ke$ha said. "I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder ... to learn to love myself again. Exactly as I am."
The singer is reportedly being treated at the Timberline Knolls rehab center in Lemont, Ill., the same treatment facility Demi Lovato went to for her addictions and eating disorder.
For some time now, the pop star has been strutting a smaller frame, however, there was no "evidence that anything was amiss," E! News reported.
Ke$ha's trainer, Kit Rich recently shared the star's workout plan with E! News.
"We've been doing a lot of circuit training and incorporating Pilates exercises with weights that heighten and shape the butt," Kit told E! News. "Lunges, squats, stairs and isolated glute exercises."
He also added that Ke$ha has also been practicing a healthier diet.
"She makes fresh vegetable and fruit juices in her juicer daily," he said. "Plus, she eats lots of protein-she really loves salmon!-and steamed veggies and tons of water."
The second season of Ke$ha's TV series "My Crazy Beautiful Life" just finished airing on MTV, WebProNews reported. It is uncertain whether MTV plans on renewing the season for a 3rd season, and how Ke$ha's eating disorder might play into the reality show's production.
