The new iPad Pro ad campaign features four video clips highlighting the benefits of the Apple tablet over a computer. Each of the four commercials lasted for about 16 seconds and began with a tweet from skeptical consumers.

In the iPad Pro ad, Apple replaced the actual Twitter users with actors. Nonetheless, at least one of the account owners was contacted before the campaign went live. The clips answered issues like the lack of viruses in the tablet, Microsoft Word for iOS, LTE connectivity, and Apple Pencil.

iPad Pro ad hits on online bashers

According to The Verge, the first video in the iPad pro ad series starts with a printed tweet that reads "An iPad Pro is not even close to being a computer." An Apple voiceover then explains the benefits of the tablet over a normal PC. It highlighted iPad's speed and touchscreen with Apple Pencil.

"Well, iPad Pro isn't a computer. It's actually faster than most laptops," the voice in the iPad Pro ad stressed. The same narration noted that the iPad Pro has LTE connectivity like modern smartphones. Apparently, the bashers on Twitter were kind of right, Apple said in quite a sarcastic manner.

On the other hand, the second iPad Pro ad focuses on the gadget's LTE support system. Basically, it allows users to receive cellular services anywhere. Consequently, the third clip clarifies that Microsoft Word is actually available on the iOS device.

The last video in the iPad Pro ad campaign pointed out that the Apple flagship tablet does not get viruses. It originated from a tweet that said: "My laptop has the nastiest viruses and I'm terrified." Well, the Cupertino-based company assured that the iPad Pro is protected from PC viruses. It even joked that there is nothing to be scared of other than ghosts!

Upcoming Apple tablet release date: Reason for the iPad Pro ad campaign

Today's iPhone reported that the iPad pro ad series proves the idea of Tim Cook, Apple CEO, that an iPad is better than any Windows computer. Accordingly, the commercials were launched as a preparation for the nearing arrival of the upgraded tablet. Fan theories claim that the device will thrive with a refreshed processor and a new edge-to-edge appearance.

Per Mac Rumors, the iPad Pro ad campaign only means that the gadget is coming soon, probably in March. Nevertheless, Apple has not issued any official statement regarding this speculation so readers might want to take it with a grain of salt. The latest commercials, for the record, seemed to be patterned from an earlier "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" campaign featuring Justin Long and John Hodgman.
