NVDIA's announcement of its participation in the upcoming Game Developers Conference 2017 where GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is reportedly making its first appearance to steal the limelight from AMD Vega's GPU gaming showcase. However, the NVIDIA vs. AMD Vega showdown is creating confusion among gaming enthusiasts regarding the real score of their respective releases. Could a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti - AMD Vega 10 exhibition happen?
Prior to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti schedule, AMD Vega's appearance at the GDC2017 is the most anticipated gaming event this year where most gamers are expected to show up. The AMD team is reviving the "Capsaicin" gamer's party which debuted only last year, PC World reported. This event is slated to live-streamed during the Feb. 28 schedule and will start at around 10:30 AM from Ruby Skye.
Aside from showcasing hottest new graphics and VR technologies, AMD's March 2 schedule will provide some light to AMD Ryzen CPU as AMD Game Engineering team gather up to discuss more about it which will be followed by followed by advanced optimization topics. However, by this time, game enthusiasts are expected to divide as GeForce GTX 1080 Ti might take the stage for NVDIA's event.
Although GeForce GTX 1080 Ti has already popped up all-over the news, the graphic card launch at GDC2017 has not been confirmed yet. GeForce GTX 1080 Ti release only came out from wild guesses and no solid proof regarding its participation has confirmed it. This broke out after NVIDIA announced that it will hold its own gaming event on Feb. 28, the same date as AMD's, Game Debate wrote. Check the tweet below:
Interestingly, one possible reason why NVIDIA has made a surprise appearance at the GDC2017 is to handle promotional damages once AMD Vega 10 has made a unexpected release. Being there at the venue and having the luxury to immediately counter its rival's mega launch, GeForce GTX 1080 Ti counter release is a good measure to tie up AMD's plan.
