"Digimon World: Next Order" does not have a game plus feature that players can go to once they complete the fourth chapter of the game's story mode. Instead, the player is encouraged to go on playing with what they have and have a completely new digital world open up.
Going on beyond chapter four in "Digimon World: Next Order" Story Mode, the player is greeted with a post-game Digimon, presented with additional quests and if lucky, might end up having Digimon that live-forever. The feature, of course, is made available upon completion of the game.
The player has choice whether to start a new game from scratch or they can explore the new world presented in the existing save in "Digimon World: Next Order." However, in this level, the extra adventures and dungeons within are also extra hard.
"Digimon World: Next Order" main game lets players work with their partners for 20 days for the strongest ones after the deadline is up, the Digimon devolves or dies. There is a way to go around this in "Digimon World: Next Order" for players to keep their Digimon alive perpetually. Working with Holyangemon, Lord Knightmon or the Royal Knights can keep Digimon alive forever. Lord Knightmon, for one, can extend a Digimon's life by 99 days.
Beating "Digimon World: Next Order," it is expected for the player to receive Digimails about new EX scenarios. Quests take players to different dungeons in the Dimensional District where they can go around accomplishing goals. However, they are extremely difficult, according to Siliconera.
"Digimon World: Next Order" characters' time is limited. Depending on the form, they take 10 to 20 days for characters to live before wheezing out and dying. Megas of the game lives the longest while others will not live past 15 days.
Although, the truth of the matter is, players, do not lose characters in "Digimon World: Next Order," for Digimon constantly resurrect. Each time they do, they are better and stronger than before, according to Gamer Professionals. Though some might be annoyed by Digimon life spans, "Digimon World: Next Order" makes it work.
"Digimon World: Next Order" is available for the PS4.
