'Resident Evil 7' Daughter DLC Hits PS4; Game Will Hit PS4 & PC After Sony's Time Exclusivity Offer
ByCapcom's latest survival horror game "Resident Evil 7" is about to get another big update this week. A new second expansion update has been released today, February 14, on Sony PS4 game console. Capcom made the huge announcement this week.
According to Eurogamer.net, which got the full story about the Daughter DLC pack, the "Resident Evil 7, " Daughters DLC is part of the Banned Footage Vol. 2.
Banned Footage Vol.2, according to Capcom, is the second wave of expansions for the horror adventure game that includes two new missions to play through 21 Scenario and Daughters Scenario.
Unlike the other Resident Evil DLC episodes which focused more on Clancy, the new DLC is said to be a prequel to the main story, seeing how the Baker Family encountered Eveline for the first time, according to GameSpot.
Resident Evil fans can check the full details about the new Daughter DLC story, including the True Ending and Bad Ending things, at the Eurogamer.net website.
Additionally, the new Daughter DLC pack will also include a new mode, called Jack's 55th Birthday, which described by the developer as a 'comical game mode' involving the villain, Jack Baker.
Initially, the new DLC will be on timed exclusive for PS4 until February 21. Xbox One and PC version will take their first taste of the new DLC after the Sony's time exclusivity offer, GameSpot reported.
The game's first expansion, Banned Footage Vol. 1, first launched on the PS4 game console on January 31. It will hit Xbox One and PC at the same time as Banned Footage Vol. 2, which on February 21.
First announced at E3 2016 event, "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is a survival horror video game developed for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game, which was released in January 2017, is the 24th entry in the Resident Evil franchise and the first main series installment to be played from a first-person perspective.
