Square Enix, game developer of "Kingdom Hearts 3" cleared up an unfortunate error recently whether the game will be available for the Xbox One.
The initial confusion was caused by the "Kingdom Hearts 3" website, which removed the Xbox One logo. It led followers of the game series to believe that the game had been canceled for the Microsoft console. The concern was heightened because "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" Final Chapter Prologue failed to appear on Xbox one, Express reported. It was released exclusively for the PS4.
However, Square Enix confirmed that that is not the case. It was revealed that the omission of the Xbox One logo was done in error. As such, it is now official that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is still on track to be released on Xbox One, according to Video Games Republic.
Furthermore, the logo is now back on the "Kingdom Hearts 3" website to the relief of fans who were initially disappointed by the erroneous omission. As of this writing, no news is still available on when "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be released for PS4 and Xbox One.
Meanwhile, gamers are wondering when game developer Square Enix will release new trailers for "Kingdom Hearts 3." The company has released no trailer since the Electronic Entertainment Expo back in 2015, which showed part of the "Kingdom Heart 3s" gameplay.
According to a recent Dengeki Playstation interview, hints were dropped that there might be something special in store for "Kingdom Hearts 3" fans that will be revealed soon. Fans are expecting that a trailer reveal might be shown during the "Kingdom Hearts" World Tour orchestra concert on March 10.
Without revealing much of what is to come, Yoko Shimomura, franchise composer said that she, along with "Kingdom Hearts" director Tetsuya Nomura have planned something for the fans. It has been revealed that a movie will be shown in the hall of the event, as supervised by Nomura.
By not revealing more, it can be surmised that a full trailer or even cut scenes of "Kingdom Hearts 3" might be in the offing during the event.
