With images and videos being released every now and then for DC Extended Universe's upcoming film this year, it is not surprising for fans to clamor for an official "Justice League" plot synopsis.

Just a few days ago, a seemingly legit "Justice League" plot synopsis started making the rounds online. Twitter user Sergio-El uploaded the "new" plot of the upcoming film, courtesy of F*** Magazine for January 2017, which states that Batman (portrayed by Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (portrayed by Gal Gadot) are forming a team of crime-fighters after Superman's (portrayed by Henry Cavill) death at Doomsday's hands in "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice."

According to A.V. Club, however, this plot synopsis is something that anyone could write about - especially if the movie was solely based on the previous DC movie and if one has an in-depth understanding of how film sequels are done. Still, the fact remains that the said plot has aptly described the most likely villain for "Justice League," who made a brief appearance in a deleted scene (dubbed as "Communion") from "Batman vs. Superman." He was shown to be alien-like, but suddenly turned into dust as military soldiers closed in on Lex Luthor's cell. Lex, on the other hand, appears to be somewhat born again after their encounter as he turns to face the soldiers.

While the identity of this character is still debatable, he is presumed to be Steppenwolf - a supervillain created by Jack Kirby. He is known to be Darkseid's uncle, an alien warlord whose "omega symbol" flashed before Batman's eyes in an apocalyptic dream in "Batman vs. Superman." The only question is: what are the three artifacts that Steppenwolf is after, as mentioned in the plot synopsis? This remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, another publication dishes out more details on the upcoming film. As reported by Flickering Myth, "Justice League" Director Zack Snyder mentioned in some interview that it has been fun to explore the superhero team's dynamic. He also added that the film does not only provide more opportunities for great drama, but also great fun - along with the star-studded cast's chemistry in their respective characters to the film's overall dynamic.

"Justice League" is set to be released on November 17, 2017 - starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, and J.K. Simmons, along with Ciaran Hinds, Amber Heard, and Kiersey Clemons. Julian Lewis Jones has also been cast in a yet-to-be-revealed character.
