Loyal "The Young and the Restless" viewers may see Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) less from now on. Ravi Shapur (Abhi Sinha) is getting a Valentine, while Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are about to embark on a romance.

This week's run of the drama will showcase the return of Robert Gant as Attorney David Sherman, Soap Hub reported. He will be back in the episode airing on Tuesday, Feb. 14. Friday's episode, meanwhile, will introduce Anzu Lawson as Dr. Lang.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will realize that she harbors deeper feelings for Ravi Shapur. Ashley is a pessimist when it comes to Valentine's Day, but this doesn't mean that she is an unfeeling robot. She was jealous when Ravi rode an elevator with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni).

Ashley's bitterness, however, may be ill-founded. Ravi's closeness with Phyllis is only in the platonic level, according to Yahoo! TV.

Phyllis only wants Ravi's advice regarding online dating, with Ravi encouraging her to love again. Ravi, on the other hand, seems to be harboring feelings for Ashley, too. They just have to move towards that common goal together.

As for the other couples on "The Young and the Restless," Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) plans a romantic anniversary dinner with husband Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard). Things will go awry when the two lash out at each other instead of recounting their sweetest moments together. Lily criticizes Cane's skewed priorities.

Things may be going well for Nick and Chelsea, but their romance will be cut short due to Chelsea's baggage about Christian's real paternity.

Jill (Jess Walton) will discover that Colin (Tristan Rogers) stole all the money from her bank account and she will kick him out of the house. This stressful event will cause Jill to have chest pains that may be the symptoms of a dangerous health condition.

Victor will remain on the sidelines as a semi-retired man, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry. The character has undergone major developments over the years, with his son Adam's (Justin Hartley) death one of the biggest blows. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and her mother Sharon (Sharon Case), meanwhile, helped coax Victor's soft side out in the open.

"The Young and the Restless" appears to be shifting fans' attention away from Victor. The show put an end to his feud with Jack (Peter Bergman) and his issues with his children Nick, Vickie (Amelia Heinle) and Abby (Melissa Ordway). This proves that Victor is done with the fighting and he just wants redemption from his family. The soap opera airs weekdays on CBS at 12:30 p.m.
