Motorola has already launched the highly anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Moto Z handsets. Now, a Moto Z listing was recently spotted on GFXBench that mentions an operating system version as Android 7.1.1 Nougat. However, the smartphone manufacturer has no official announcement of the said listing.

The GFXBench listing suggests that Motorola is working on Android 7.1.1 Nougat to run as the operating system of the Moto Z smartphone. The Moto Z smartphone owners will be glad of this news and it suggests that the tech company is looking to keep its customers happy. The Android 7.1.1 Nougat update is said to power the current-Gen Moto Z handsets and not the Moto Z 2017. There are no words from the tech company on when exactly the Moto Z smartphones will receive the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update, according to GSM Arena.

Nevertheless, the Android 7.0 Nougat update for Moto Z smartphone last year came along with several new features. Some of the features of the Android 7.0 Nougat update included the multi-window view support and the work mode, which allows the users to turn on and off some of the notifications and related apps on the smartphone. Also, the update introduced a direct reply feature and the Doze mode, which ensured that the smartphone utilizes less power when not in use.

That being the case, the Moto Z smartphone is one of two flagship smartphones that the tech giant unleashed in 2016. The device boasts a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display, along with a 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of expandable internal storage. Wherein, the 64GB storage variant of the device is listed on GFXBench. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core SoC powers the Moto Z smartphone, coupled with the Adreno 530 GPU, Android Headlines reported.

In addition, the handset also comes along with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. The Moto Z smartphone packs a 2,600mAh non-removable battery.
