The pre-ordering for the OnePlus 3T 128GB model was opened over the weekend.

9to5Google broke the news of the new OnePlus 3T variant's pre-order availability which is the first time that the unit will be opened for purchase.

It also noted that the OnePlus 3T 128GB's $479 is a great deal, since potential buyers only need to add $40 if they're looking to double the storage on their planned OnePlus 3T 64GB purchase. This makes the 128GB variant one of the much-anticipated phones in the budget market range.

The OnePlus 3T 128GB only comes in Gunmetal Grey, while the OnePlus 3T 64GB comes in Soft Gold.

9to5Google mentioned that shipping starts more than a week from now. There are variations as far as the shipping turnaround time is concerned, but the common consensus is that the lead time would be between 11-13 days.

GSMArena, on the other hand, said that with the opening of the new pre-order batch, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer appears to have finally been able to meet with the rising demand for the 3T.

It added that OnePlus has started making the 64MB variant available for shipping in North America and Europe.

Announced back in November 2016, the OnePlus 3T is a 5.5-inch dual SIM phone running Android 6. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 quad-core CPU, Adreno 530 GPU and 6GB RAM. It is important to note that the internal storage is NOT expandable.

Both the main and secondary cameras are 16MP snappers.

It has a fingerprint sensor and gyroscope as well.

Lastly, the OnePlus 3T is powered by a non-removable Li-on 3400MAH battery.

Reviews of the OnePlus 3T have so far been positive, with praise given to its design and build making it a rival to any premium smartphone in the market today.
