M. Night Shyamalan is planning to bring two of his successful thriller films together in one final sequel. Here is what he revealed.

"Split" is undeniably one of this year most anticipated thriller films. With M. Night Shyamalan as its writer and director, the avid fans of this filmmaker were able to bring the movie to the top. Not to mention, they even got an easter egg treat at the end of the film -- an "Unbreakable" finale.

M. Night Shyamalan Talks 'Unbreakable' Project

In his interview with Uproxx, M. Night Shyamalan reveals his intention on bringing back one of his successful thriller movie, "Unbreakable". The film cast includes big time Hollywood veterans such as Bruce Willis, who acts the main lead role David Dunn, and Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price or Mr. Glass.

For starters, M. Night Shyamalan "Unbreakable" movie is about a man who discovers that he has a superhuman power as well as an ability to see the crimes people have committed after a devastating event.

With these events from M. Night Shyamalan "Unbreakable", the director admits creating a project to (hopefully) bring David Dunn in Kevin Wendell Crumb's world.

"I do intend on making a final Unbreakable movie and I'm intending on doing it next," says M. Night Shyamalan.

M. Night Shyamalan Talks 'Split' and 'Unbreakable' Combined Sequels

This reported forthcoming "combined" project of these two films is not a surprise at all, if you have seen "Split", the ending says it all. With Willis appearing at the end of M. Night Shyamalan movie and a woman acting in the film referencing "The Horde" as someone that reminds her of "Mr. Glass", a sequel with Kevin and David in one world is expected.

"... I'm still close to Bruce and everybody. And obviously I'm still close to James and still in touch with Sam and all that stuff," reveals M. Night Shyamalan. "So, hopefully, that becomes a reality very soon."

Moreover, M. Night Shyamalan also has another revelation. Based on The Independent, Kevin from "Split", was part of the original script of "Unbreakable". David was supposed to meet Kevin's personalities instead of bumping to an Orange Man Suit.

"David bumps into one of Kevin's personalities and goes to save the girls. So you'd have been watching the girls side of it the whole time. That was the outline," reveals M. Night Shyamalan.

On the other hand, it seems like M. Night Shyamalan fans won't have to wait for so long as the director himself reveals that he already has an 11-page story in him.

As of writing, nothing has been announced whether M. Night Shyamalan is still up for a "Split" and "Unbreakable" crossover movie or he will write separate sequel stories for his two films.
