Square Enix has recently revealed details of the upcoming DLC update for its open world action RPG "Final Fantasy XV," but the update runs into trouble and has been delayed due to some IP concerns.

FFXV DLC Release Delayed Due To IP Concerns

According to GameSpot, the "Final Fantasy XV" DLC will be delayed due to some IP concerns. The FFXV's Magitek Exosuit looked quite similar to the ones used by the Saban Entertainment's Power Ranger. As a result, the developers have decided to change the FFXV suits.

The huge makeover of the Magitek Exosuits means that the FFXV DLC featuring them will also be delayed.
"Final Fantasy 15" Director Hajime Tabata and Marketing Manager Akio Ofuji confirmed the news in a recent live stream, in which the two mentioned the Magitek Exosuit and explained to the public why they need to change it.

Originally, the official release of the Magitek Exosuit was set on February 21, but the copyright issues have pushed the release date even further. Until now, there still no exact date given as to when the redesigned suits will be available to the FFXV players and fans are reportedly worried about this unexpected delay.

According to Gematsu, FFXV Fans are not the only ones who saw similarities between the Power Rangers designs. In a recent Active Time Report live stream, the Power Rangers IP made a contact to Square Enix regarding the similarity of the Magitek Exosuit to Power Rangers' outfits.

Reports said that developers have spent a day looking into that issues, checking for similarities. Finally, after intense works, the developers decided to make a huge iteration.

However, the new design or replacement suit has not been shown to the public, the developers decided to remain tight-lipped about this matter.

Square Enix Announces PC Port, Game Coming To Windows PC

According to Windows Report, the Square Enix's fantasy RPG FFXV is about to hit the Windows PC. Tabata also added that, if the PC version finally hits the road, it would have various extra features on board.

One that being highlighted by the Square Enix director is the mods support. Additionally, Tabata claims that there is also a possibility of reusing unused parts of the map that were unreachable for the FFXV players. However, the reworking might take some time.

In addition to the unused maps, Tabata also discussed some details about the upcoming patches for FFXV, talking about to fast travel loading time and upgrade to cars and their use.

Unfortunately, the Square Enix director has not mentioned any words about the release date, so fans can only wait and hope that the upcoming "Final Fantasy XV" DLC would come soon.
