Apple has chosen "Roofbot: Puzzler on the Roof" as its featured free game for this week.
This is confirmed in a report by Phone Arena.
"Roofbot: Puzzler on the Roof" is a puzzle game where players are tasked to place a colored ball into its rightful slot to be able to solve the puzzle and get to the next level. Once a move has been made, players are not going to be able to move back as the previous space from which they came will fall down as the game is played on top of structures of different architectural designs. The playing field can also change at any moment. That makes the game much more challenging than it sounds.
Since the game is played by swiping on the screen, it would be prudent for players to both be wise and quick on their fingers, so to speak.
In its game review, WCCFTech noted that the game's visual effects "are intuitive and quite hooking."
"The hand-crafted architecture along with 120 cunning puzzles is both mesmerizing to watch and amazing to play at the same time," it added.
"Roofbot: Puzzler on the Roof" also has a relatively high user rating of 4.5.
Apple selects a paid app from the App Store every week on Thursdays that will be offered to iOS users for free within the next seven days.
So by this coming Thursday, "Roofbot: Puzzler on the Roof" will be back to its original $3 purchase price, with in-app purchases ranging from $0.99 to $44.99, in the App Store. However, a different app will be available for free by then, allowing iOS user to save a few bucks every week on downloads.
Android users aren't as time-bound as their iOS counterparts, since "Roofbot: Puzzler on the Roof" is perennially free to download from the Google Play Store.
