‘Injustice 2:’ Black Canary’s Killer Battle Attacks Seen In New Video! New Beta Update Announced
ByNew playable characters continue to come to "Injustice 2: Gods Among Us." Just recently, developer NetherRealm Studios confirmed that Black Canary is making her way to the fighting game.
For those unacquainted with the character, Black Canary is a vigilante who uses her martial arts skills and sonic scream attack to bring down criminals. The gameplay trailer for the superhero showed that she is a fatal and acrobatic combatant that excels at a mid-to-long fighting range, according to WWG.
Black Canary also displays damaging grabs and combos that end with her enemies being hurled away. Dashing through long distances at lightning speed is a piece of cake for the character. It is possible that her somersault dashes also double as dodges.
In close range, Black Canary's opponents get blasted by powerful blows that create distance. Enemies may get intimidated by the sonic screams she lets out from a distance, and she appears to unleash her ultimate while suspended mid-air. It remains to be seen whether or not her ultimate can be performed at close range.
"Injustice 2: Gods Among Us" currently features Batman, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Deadshot, Aquaman, Blue Beetle, Gorilla Grodd and Atrocitus. Latest playable characters include Bane, Brainiac, Poison Ivy and Robin.
Robin a.k.a. Damian Wayne now opposes the Caped Crusader's non-lethal code of honor. As a result, he has sought the mentorship of Superman, whom he sees as a better father figure than Batman.
Bane, meanwhile, is planning to exact revenge on the Regime after their betrayal and in the process, he will try to destroy Gotham City and evade Batman. You can read the latest additions' official descriptions on EventHubs.
NetherRealm Studios executive Ed Boon said last month that a DLC of the game will feature third-party obscure characters to balance out the popular figures already introduced. He promised that the game's sequel will explore new characters that players aren't well-versed with, GameSpot reported.
A beta update is heading to the game in the near future. This week, Boon posted a mysterious tweet that translates to "Beta Update Soon."
