The Japan and Western release of "Accel World vs. Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight" is just around the corner, but it looks like Bandai Namco Entertainment and long-time enthusiasts want to fire up the hype even more for the highly anticipated crossover game of "Accel World" and "Sword Art Online."

More photos from "Accel World vs. Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight" were released yesterday and were shown to include Kuroyukihime and Chiyuri Kurashima wearing their own costumes from "Accel Assault" - a previous game before "Accel World" was released, but was sadly discontinued for unknown reasons. Two new stages - Snow Mountains and Phantom Ship - were also shown to be included, according to DualShockers.

As reported by Gematsu, the photos also revealed more about the game's switch system and the characters' special abilities. CGI scenarios were also revealed, which features a unique storyline behind each one. Further detailed on the same post, the switch system allows one to continue a combo attack - even if a character is switched to a different one while attacking. It also allows one to deal a higher amount of damage to the enemy, as compared to just using one character throughout the whole level.

As for the special abilities, it will be just like in AW and SAO - each character having a different special move/skill for each incarnate skill/weapon. Take, for example, Kirito's special skill in SAO, which was called "Dual Blades," a powerful sword skill with the combined powers of "Dark Repulser" and "Elucidator."

But as revealed in the photos, Kirito's special skill in the game will be called "Cygnus Onslaught" instead; by using two swords like SAO Kirito, it can easily slice through enemies - all the while radiating a cross-shaped light. As for the CGI scenarios, there is Leafa, left almost naked after a monster suicide attack, a sweet moment between ALO Kirito and Asuna as they go out onto a field, Chiyuri presenting a big meal in front of Haruyuki, and more.

"Accel World vs. Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight" is set to be released on March 16, 2017 in Japan and this summer in North America as well as Europe. The title will also be rolled out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
