The highly anticipated Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus just had its specifications and features benchmarked.

Canada-based Primate Labs posted a chart for Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus (model name TB-8703F) on their Geekbench Browser site the other day, which includes a number of high-end specifications and features. According to the benchmark chart, it has a single-core score of 935 and a multi-core score of 4667 - all thanks to its 8-core Qualcomm processor and 3GB RAM, which is great in performing light to moderate tasks.

If anyone could recall, various reports about this device first surfaced back in September 2016. According to a recent post on Notebook Italia however, they were able to get a preview on what the Tab3 8 Plus can offer for consumers and are now giving all the information needed to put an end to those mere speculations. To start off, the Tab3 8 Plus is primarily designed for "multi-user sharing." Just like a personal computer, anyone who would be using the device can set their own profile and install applications in separate accounts. This is perfect for families, wherein parents can control which apps their children can only use.

While considered quite similar to previous versions in Lenovo's tablet series, there are still small changes with the upcoming device. For one, it will be available in two colors - blue and silver - that come with a pearl-like finish. It will also be IP52-certified and water splash and dust-resistant. Aside from that, it will come in two versions: a Wi-Fi only version (the one shown on Geekbench Browser) and a 4G-LTE version (model name TB-8703X).

As for other technical aspects, the Tab3 8 Plus will feature a 1920x1200 pixel display, 8-core Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB RAM, and 16GB internal storage. It will also come with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, 8MP and 5MP rear and front-facing cameras, and 4250 mAH battery. The only downside? It will run on a previous Android version, the Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.
