The craze is still on with "Pokemon GO" and Niantic has brought a few updates to the game. Find out more!
"Pokemon GO" Update: The Release Note
The official "Pokemon GO" blog announced Saturday that the updates for iOS and Android platforms have been rolled out. There isn't any major change but some secrets are revealed.
The new game version reportedly brings the latest features, especially to Android mobile users.
It's been reported that there will be a new badge coming to the game after Express has learned from a reference in the source code. There is also Candy Award's new addition relating to Buddy achievements.
Aside from the new "Pokemon GO" features, trainers can have the benefits of speedy loading-time on Android as connectivity issue has been fixed. For iOS devices, the game is now integrated with Apple Watch for wheelchair support.
The "Pokemon GO" event will reportedly take place on Valentine's Day and it is expected to bring major updates for Gen 2 Pokemon. More pocket monsters could arrive on Feb. 14 according to Slashgear. The media has learned from an internal source that the update on Valentine's Day will be about friendship and love plus, the most-anticipated collection.
So far, the game fits well with holiday themes from Christmas to New Year. Other expected update could also arrive during Easter month - probably another big batch of new actions.
"Pokemon GO" New Companion Device
Meanwhile, after Pokemon GO Plus receives a huge success as a companion, Nintendo and Pokemon Company have a future plan to create another accessory with much safer features.
