Tension and drama are rampant on "The Young and the Restless" this week on CBS. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Gloria (Judith Chapman) are hooking up and this may damage the former's position at Jabot.

Jack and Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) finalized a deal that is in the latter's favor, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry. Disappointed that she won't get the job that Jack promised, Gloria got drunk in a bar where Jack found and joined her.

The two found themselves in bed together later on, suggesting that they had sex the night before. However, it's also possible that nothing happened between them and Gloria was just using it to blackmail Jack into giving her a job.

Gloria and Jack's dalliance will end up at the altar. Jack told his ex-wife Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) that he and Gloria are together even though they're not. Of course, Jack and Gloria must follow through on this to keep up the ruse, thus the marriage.

It's no secret how much Jack and Gloria abhor each other. Jack has always believed that Gloria only wanted his father John's (Jerry Douglas) money, but it turns out that she indeed loved John.

Jack and Gloria's fake marriage on "The Young and the Restless" is bound to be testy, though. They have the same cutthroat approach in getting what they want and since Gloria knows that Lauren has a bigger stake in the Abbott-Fenmore merger, she might work with Jack for her own benefit. Jack is also seeking help from Eric Forrester (John McCook).

Dylan (Steve Burton), meanwhile, left town because of the lies concerning Christian's real parentage. Sharon (Sharon Case) struggles with Dylan's departure because she might never see him again. However, she's willing to let Dylan go if it means that his life is safe.

Paul (Doug Davidson) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will also struggle with Dylan's departure. It remains to be seen how the trio will deal without Dylan. It's possible that they will make important changes in their lives but they may also choose to try to forget Dylan and move on, TV Overmind noted.

A party at the Underground is also brewing and it will gather individuals with issues and hidden agendas. There are expectations that the party would not bode well for someone, and that's probably connected to Jack's admission to Ashley (Eileen Davidson).

"The Young and the Restless" will also feature Colin Atkinson's (Tristan Rogers) upcoming return to Genoa City. It's unknown whether or not his comeback is all about supporting Jill (Jess Walton), or if he's conniving in a blackmail scheme.
