The upcoming Mobile World Congress event is just a few days away and many companies are scrambling to get their seat in one of the biggest technology events of the year. One of these companies that are readying for the big tech event is the Korean tech behemoth Samsung. The company is also expected to launch its latest Galaxy handset- the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4.

Samsung has earned a fearsome reputation for delivering high quality and cutting-edge technology products, which include smartphones, tablets and more. The Korean giant is well known in the tech circle for launching innovative products, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is one great example of these.

Amazingly, the company did not launch any Galaxy Xcover smartphones last year and also has not announced any plans for this year.

Samsung Handset Coming With Android 7.0 Nougat OS

According to Softpedia, which the first one to spot the missing story, there are still no reports about why the Xcover 4 has not yet made it to the smartphone market emerged until now.

Samsung has decided to remain tight-lipped about this matter. The mysterious handset went unnoticed until a few days ago when a mysterious handset was spotted at the Wi-Fi Alliance, Softpedia added.

That mysterious handset goes by model number SM-G390F. Some have already speculated that this could be the long forgotten Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4. This is possible because the previous Xcover 3 smartphone has a same-class model number.

Unfortunately, the only information that been revealed to the public is that the smartphone runs on the latest Android operating system- the Android 7.0 Nougat. Another one is that the handset has received its WiFi certification from WiFi Alliance.

The news about the Android 7.0 Nougat and the Xcover 4's recent WiFi certification has made everyone in the tech world believe that the mysterious Samsung handset will be launched very soon. Some analysts have already hinted the next big tech event, the MWC 2017, as a possible launching pad for the mysterious handset.

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 To Finally Reveal This Year?

SanMobile earlier reported a tech story about an unidentified Galaxy-branded smartphone that was spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance's online database.

However, the WiFI Alliance listing does not reveal much information about the mysterious device. The only information that been revealed to the public is that the device carries the model number SM-G390F. This has led to some conclusion and speculation that this could be the long -overdue Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4.

Until now, it still not clear when the Galaxy Xcover 4 will hit the market, but this will not take much longer as the device now received its WiFi certification.
