Woody Harrelson just couldn't seem to keep his mouth closed about his involvement in the "Star Wars" Han Solo spinoff. His answers to some of the interviews suggest that he would be playing the young Han Solo's mentor Garris Shrike. Now, it seems like the Force wants him to shut up.

The Force Wants To Keep Woody Harrelson's Mouth Shut

In one of his interviews, Harrelson said that the Force is not allowing him to talk about topics related to the Han Solo origins movie, Comic Book movie. He said that the filmmakers behind the spinoff are keeping everything about the movie very top secret, which was also the case with "Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens" and "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."

In another note, Harrelson also told reporters that he wouldn't choose himself to play the mentor of young Han Solo, NME reported. Han Solo spinoff directors Christopher Miller and Phil Lord recently confirmed that Harrelson would indeed be part of the movie. They acknowledged the depth and wide range of Woody's acting bringing humor and pathos in one role.

Woody also said that he believes that the directors of the upcoming Han Solo spinoff movie are great and it is very cool to be part of the project. Though he joked about not choosing himself to play the role, he told reporters that it would be cool playing the character of young Han Solo's mentor.

Aside from the veteran actor, Harrelson will also be joined by Emilia Clarke, who is more popularly known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the hit series "Game of Thrones." Meanwhile, Alden Ehrenrich will play the young Han Solo. He was chosen over Blake Jenner, Emory Cohen, Scott Eastwood, Ansel Elgort, Jack Reynor, Logan Lerman, and Dave Franco, who all auditioned for the role. Donald Glover will also be in the movie playing the role of young Lando Calrissan.

The new Han Solo spinoff will start production on March this year, and is expected for release December 2018.
